Hi, I'm Chris.
Ten years in the British Army, several more across the financial services industry — and now building a practice of my own. This is a quick introduction.
My focus is on giving people the same kind of clear, calm financial guidance my own family has benefited from for years. The intent is to offer restricted advice — meaning recommendations from a carefully selected panel of providers — when authorisation is in place.
Drop me a line.
I'm currently working towards FCA authorisation. Leave your details below and I'll be in touch as soon as I'm able to.

From the army to financial advice.
I spent a decade in the British Army before moving into the financial services industry, working primarily across equity release and protection. Both worlds taught me the same thing in different ways: clarity matters, decisions made under pressure are usually the wrong ones, and people deserve to be properly understood before being given an answer.
I'm currently studying for the LIBF Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice — the qualification that underpins authorisation as a regulated adviser in the UK. Once that's in place, I'll be able to begin working with clients formally.
From a young age, I remember our family having a financial adviser. His visits always felt like an important event in the household, and the positive impact he has had on us over the years was a real motivator for me when looking at a career in the industry.
That's the kind of impact I want to have on the people I work with — quiet, long-term, and genuinely useful. Not flashy. Not pushy. Just a steady, dependable hand in one of the most important parts of life.
The kind of practice I'm building.
Restricted, by design
Advice will be restricted — meaning recommendations come from a carefully selected panel of providers. The goal: depth of knowledge over surface-level breadth.
Built around business owners
I work closely with business owners looking to scale through acquisition. They are, in many ways, my ideal client — and where I believe I can have the most impact.
Clarity over complexity
Plain English. No jargon for jargon's sake. If a client doesn't fully understand a recommendation, it isn't a recommendation worth making.
Husband, father, adventurer.
I'm based in Derbyshire with my wife and two children. When I'm not studying or working, I'm usually outdoors — hiking, rock climbing, skiing, or training in martial arts.
Adventurous sports have a lot in common with good financial planning: respect the risks, prepare properly, and the rewards are well worth the effort.
